My name is Min!
(My government name is Li Min or 立敏 but sadly people have an awful lot of trouble remembering that, so if you do call me by full Chinese name chances are I will include you in my will).
I live in Singapore and run an inclusive balletwear brand at cloudandvictory.com. I dance (I use the term ‘dance’ generously) whenever I have time, and I write about the arts here.
Companies/publications I’ve written or created content for include the Straits Times, Dance Magazine, the Esplanade Singapore, the Royal Ballet and the Bolshoi Ballet.
Publications I have been featured in include Pointe magazine, Dance Magazine, the Huffington Post and Dance Magazine.
I hold law and political science degrees which I never formally used (to the chagrin of every Asian auntie/uncle), open hips but internally rotated femurs + anterior pelvic tilt (to the confusion of every ballet teacher I’ve ever encountered) and a lot of opinions.
I love dogs, theatre and cheesy 80s music. But I hate cheese, except when it’s on pizza.
